Christmasknitting priority list

I'm trying to finish my Christmas present knitting asap.
But you know, sometimes things does not go as planned.
So last night I sat down and wrote a list, and I HAVE to stick with it...

Here it is:

  1. Bonnet for Tilde (not a Christmas present, but her mom paid me to make it so it has to be done first)
  2. Mittens
  3. Bolero
  4. Felted slippers
  5. Felted slippers
  6. Tubesocks
  7. Socks
  8. Felted mittens
I'm currently working on 5 of the items, so it shouldn't really take that long to finish them.

Next week I'm going to a Christmas workshop at a friends apartment.
Have to search my brain to find some ideas on what we can make that's not expensive and does not take several hours to make.
Do you have any ideas for me?

What I've been knitting lately...

I have been knitting mostly for kids lately.
Mainly because the items are small enough so that I don't get bored.

Made a striped raglansweater and a striped hat for Øyvind.
And a snugglebunny for Tilde.

Also made an Aviatrix hat in 4-6months size.
Tubesocks and a modified Abagail sweater (ravelry link), now dress, for Tilde.

What I found in my grandmothers knittingbasket...

I visited my grandmother, Kitty, who lives on Averøy this Friday.
As we both knit we always end up in the basket where she puts all her FO's.
This time I decided to show of what she's made.
She will be 82 next month and still knits socks and baby garments for those who asks for it.

A little visitor

Earlier this year I made a cute little jacket.
Today I got a visit from Tilde who got the jacket when she was born in April.
It fits her well :-)

Blue

Give me my space.
Let me be by myself for a little while.
I need it.

I need to walk alone.
Be alone with my thoughts.

All is well, I just needed this time for myself.
Breathe.
Think.
Process.
